Every person has rights regardless of their past actions

Ray Turner Immigration Lawyers have succeeded in a Federal Court case against the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs as we were able to prove that it was unreasonable for the Minister to fail to make a decision on whether or not to grant our client’s visa for over an 18-month time period. The Federal Court has accepted that the Minister failed to make a decision within a reasonable time period and as such, has ordered that the Minister make a decision in our client’s matter within 14 days.

This is a great decision for not only our client but any client who is detained in immigration detention or prison and is waiting for the Department to make a decision in their matter. This solidifies the role of the Courts in ensuring that every person has access to legal remedies and will not be at the mercy of bureaucratic delays.

Ray Turner Immigration Lawyers strongly believes that every person has rights that should be protected regardless of their past actions. If you have a legal issue and require representation, then Ray Turner Immigration Lawyers have the expertise to help you.
